ANSWERS:
A1. Right now, that’s something that I feel. On the latest tour we did a lot of pre-production in rural areas so we had to eat out a lot. And sometimes we’d accidentally run into fans so then instead of saying “I’m sorry” I’d say “Let’s eat together” and they’d line up at the counter and eat. Such style is happiness. The stage and off-stage us become equal, and I think that talking to fans directly can make us happier.
A2. I lived for the band alone, if I look back, there’s nothing, no employment, no education. Saying this is like saying that I was living my youth empty-handed (laughs).A3. During lives we have a lot of things to tell. So if there’s something to be said, I think of when to say it. That’s a fight. Not making something new is being caught up in the past, and we say and prove it.
A4. There are a lot. But after all, it’s GANTZ (Gants?) book/books/volumes [not sure which exactly he means].
A5. It’d be what I’m reading right now – Agota Kristof’s The Notebook. The Notebook, The Proof and The Third Lie are a trilogy. When I was reading The Third Lie, I was fascinated by the diversity of lies.
A6. I want to play for 7 days without sleep! I’d like to go into loss.
A7. To eat Chinese and Sushi, in a few places one after another/barhopping. [He mentions ハシゴhere, but I’ve got a hard time putting it into right words]. The line-up is usually going to Sushi Shop, eat about 4 sushi and then off to the Chinese (laughs).
A8. During tour, in one prefecture I went to a club on my own and was called by a group of men and women. There could’ve been about a hundred people (laughing). It was good to have a lot of various conversations.
A9. A book. Absolutely! When I read a book in bed at night, I start to swoon. It’s a habit.
A10. Definitely Amuro (Kidou Senshi Gundam [Mobile Soldier Gundam/Gundam79]. The other day I got acquainted with seiyuu [voice actor] Tooru Furuya-san, it really happened! I heard his normal voice. I was really impressed. His daughter seemed to have been UVERworld fan, I also felt the power (laughs).
A1. Writing a good song, having various arrangements decided, possibility of time to relax. I don’t think I’m entirely happy now.
A2. Previously I did some physically hard part-time work at night. It finished at 7 in the morning and without changing we went to pachinko house and stay there through the day and went back to work at night (laughing). I was unreasonable!
A3. When I work out on machines, a thought like 「It's unreasonable to be adding more weights」overcomes me and then I add more. 「I win!」(laughs).
A4. Recently it’s finding happiness hormones in byoki (ビョーキ) (laughing). If I have a chance I go to eat it. I eat it if I have a chance.
A5. All of Asano Inio-san’s manga. Within colourful storties there’s a shade of realism.
A6. I am moving now. The moving is really decided and I feel like it’d seriously be time to transport at least half of the things (laughing).
A7. Extravagant... no, nothing (laughing).
A8. There are many. Oh, going to one of the districts with bars and extremely cheap prices for everything. Like, 50 Yen for an item?!
A9. Music. Now, since I bought iPhone, there are playlists and I shuffle them.
A10. I really like (new) Gundam. Heine is growing on me.
A1. Massage. Having a tight schedule, once you finish and have some free time, getting one is the best. Getting it and coming back home, I go to sleep happy.
A2. There really were (laughing). It’s still playing [?]. Going on trips to unknown places without getting any sleep. I wouldn’t get any decent sleep for three days and then just go to the beach. I’d go to the beach in Fukui and eat sazae (laughing).
A3. Your own enemy. It’s easy to let yourself slack off, so fighting with yourself should be done properly.
A4. I run and I get drenched in sweat, come back and take a shower and after that I have black sundae choco ice, I chose calorie-free and go all “Mwah!!” I’m addicted to it.
A5. 「Moonlight Mile」is interesting. It’s quite deep.
A6. I’d completely disappear. I’d take advantage of my phone being off and escape somewhere (laughing). I could go to Italy.
A7. Going to places like Osaka’s Kani Doraku (crab restaurant), going sushi shop hopping not caring about the prices [?]. That’s luxury. Normally the food is fairly simple (laughs). To care for the body I divide food for several days and limit my meals to Black Choco Sundae Ice (laughs).
A8. I was running a lot in places we were at and I was impressed by the streets of Aomori.
A9. BGM [back ground music]. With low volume. Anything’s fine, but there’s a lot of dance music.
A10. It’s Setsuna. I like how being Gundam, he’s got a great option of weapons. Great, outrageous weapons, it’s scary (laughs). [t.’s lost in Gundam business, correct me if I’m wrong].
A1. Waking up early, good weather.
A2. Hitchhiking having no money. About 20km away from Shiga.
A3. I try hard to avoid that.
A4. All-free Suntory. A drink that tastes like beer? When I try to refrain from alcohol, I think that drinking this is tasty. I bought a box (laughing).
A5. Death Note. The story is interesting and well-thought.
A6. A trip. I want to go to South Korea and the Maldives. Korea is only 2 hours by plane which is good!
A7. Shopping without thinking. When you don’t think about the amount of money or the number of items, that’s the luxury.
A8. We went to the morning market to have a meal and suddenly a kid looking like a fan from the day before comes in. It was a child of the lady who owned the shop who seemed to have passed by us and was giving a hand (to the lady). Members signed a piece of paper and handed it over (laughing). The kid showed it to the aunt and they were happy. It left a good impression.
A9. Cell phone. I noticed I get sleepy while tinkering with it.
A10. I like Z'Gok.
A1. Playing the final [the final at the point of time, not Tokyo Dome final, obviously] show of LAST tour at a venue called Huckleberry in our home town. That live was so hot, we were lacking air! It was terrible, I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish and when it was over I was happy to go outside (laughs). Ah, we made it. I seemed to be gulping oxygen.
A2. Drinking? Not once without passing out, drinking bottles of beer and barrels of Shouchuu together (laughs). My mind was like a complete cinnabar (laughs).
A3. Waking up. I get up in the morning and I’m like up, but still sleepy. And I don’t set the alarm, at all. It’s fine when I’m in Tokyo but on tour if we have a meeting the next day and I’ve drank too much the night before that’s the worst (laughs).
A4. Ironing. Laundry goes into the drier. It becomes quite wrinkled. I do ironing in piles, about 7 in a go, and because the first out of 7 will be most likely used sooner, I do it more carefully like “Ah, this is interesting”.
A5. B-PASS (everyone laughs). Where UVERworld is mentioned (laughs). I absolutely recommend this.
A6. I’d go somewhere and start drinking around noon. Go somewhere far, somewhere where our manager doesn’t find me (laughs).
A7. Buying ice-cream as an adult. All the kinds that they have in store. Like Monaka [A sweet, check for yourself if interested]. I also buy a lot of beer.
A8. In Tottori. It’s related to tour preproduction in Tottori. Probably because we were staying there for a short time, we barely caught the view of the city. There’s a converse impression (laughs).
A9. Darkness. Not even a single tiniest lamp.
A10. I don’t watch anime all that much, but I’m quite fond of the original Slam Dunk.
